ACIITC

The Aged Care Industry IT Council (ACIITC) has been created under the auspices of the Aged Care Industry Council (ACIC). ACIC is the peak council of Australia's aged care providers. It brings together the two key representative bodies - ACAA and ACSA to address the issues affecting the entire industry.

MISSION STATEMENT

 Improve the care of older Australians through effective use of technology.

FUNCTION OF COUNCIL

  • To realise Mission Statement by promoting and facilitating the aged care industry to:
    • gain efficiencies to support workforce capacity
    • achieve greater productivity more effectively and;
    • increase quality care   
  • As a point of contact for technology and association of peers within the aged care industry.
  • Advocate technology practices and standards for aged care providers.
  • To assist small care providers to adopt technology.
  • Engage key stakeholders to provide education, skills development and leadership with respect to technology in aged care.
  • To assist Government in policy and strategy development.
  • Knowledge creation and applying latest research and information in technology to benefit aged care.
